Testimonials

Vingroup Scholars
  • It would be difficult to identify a single accomplishment about which I am most proud as a Vingroup Scholarship Scholars. It was such an important milestone in my career to receive the award. The Scholarship allowed me to pursue the research of Control of Autonomous Vehicle, Robotics and Smart Grid Energy Systems at Computer Science Department, Oxford University. I am proud to say I had worked hard to be where I am, but I certainly could not have done it without Vingroup Scholarship Support. I believe my attained experience will have a strong contribution towards the development of Vietnam, our country, into a better society where technological developments provide the best conditions for the lives of citizens.

NGUYEN DUC AN - Vingroup Scholar, Cohort 2021
DPhil student in Computer Science, University of Oxford
  • In Viet Nam, low labor productivity and an aging population are two major obstacles that will continue to affect our economic growth. Therefore, I choose robotics as my path to tackle these challenges for its numerous applications in both manufacturing and healthcare industries. At Johns Hopkins University, I plan to study medical robotics while exploring new computer vision algorithms with more powerful mathematical methods. Hopefully, I will be able to work as an R&D engineer and get my robots to help everyone in the future.

LE MINH NHAT - Vingroup Scholar, Cohort 2020
Master's student, Mechanical Engineering, Johns Hopkins University
  • My motivation to pursue the professional MEng program in Biomedical Engineering stemmed from my goal to become an accomplished biomedical engineer who is capable of translating innovative therapeutics strategies into functional medical devices and my desire to make the current and future modern technologies accessible from anywhere in the world.

PHAM HA TRANG - Vingroup Scholar, Cohort 2020
Master's student, Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University
  • I have received much more from the scholarship besides its financial support. The support and recommendation from the program made the application procedure unproblematic to me. Moreover, the network of enthusiastic and talented VinScholars would be a precious community to exchange ideas, to inspire and to develop our careers. Appreciating the initiative for education and research of Vingroup, I am eager to contribute to the scientific and technological development of our country after my study.

  • Since I was very young, I always curious about the world around me especially how to explain it through mathematical equations. Physics helps me understand how the world move. Now I want to learn more about the human mind through Artificial Intelligence in an ethical manner.

Master's student, Machine Learning and Computer Vision, Australian National University

PHUNG TRA MY - Vingroup Scholar, Cohort 2019
Master's student, Data Science, New York University
  • “I am very grateful to receive this scholarship. I can assure you the award will go toward great things. If a farmer needs a buffalo to plow their fields and a woodcutter demands an ax to go to the forest, this scholarship is like a great ship that takes me to the eastern ocean (Australia) and when I return it is full of knowledge and experience. Values in the returning ship will enrich our country and create useful things for Vietnamese science and technology.”

THAI MAI THANH - Vingroup Scholar, Cohort 2019

  • “I want to express the gratitude to my respectful family, my friends, who always love me unconditionally and shape me into the person I am today. I might not be the best, but achieving this honour scholarship truly has allowed me to be one step closer to my goal, special thanks for Vingroup Scholarship Program, we all together take responsibility and role to contribute in more progressive, and humane communities in Vietnam!”

TO THI VAN - Vingroup Scholar, Cohort 2019

  • While the global energy demand will rise nearly 25 percent, especially electricity use will increase about 70 percent, accounting for nearly all the growth in total energy demand from now to 2040, Vietnam, as well as many countries around the world, will be encountering with numerous challenges related to the energy security, energy deficiency, energy markets, and the environmental problems. I do believe that the Master of Advanced Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering at Monash University facilitates me to inventively apply cutting-edge technologies into a range of fields so that I can achieve my mission to contribute to the green transition and sustainable development of societies

TRIEU VAN BINH - Vingroup Scholar, Cohort 2019
Master's student, Advanced Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering, Monash University
  • “It is my greatest glory ever to receive the prestigious Vingroup scholarship, without which I simply cannot develop my ongoing plans. I strongly believe that a man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to leave the shore. Studying in Australia, I aim to broaden my perspectives both in research and in life. “Practice makes perfect”, I definitely overcome all obstacles to make sound contributions to my homeland upon graduation despite of great challenges ahead. Moreover, I intend to impart related majors to future generations as renewable energy is still a new area in Vietnam.”
