On November 20, 2019, Vingroup and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, signed a gift agreement to sponsor full scholarships for Vietnamese talents to pursue graduate degree programs in science and technology fields at NTU. This is an initial important step, laying the foundation for the cooperation between Vingroup, VinUniversity, and NTU in the future.
Under the Gift Agreement between Vingroup and NTU, Vietnamese candidates under 30 years of age who wish to pursue a Master’s degree and under 35 years of age who wish to pursue a Ph.D. in science and technology at NTU are eligible to apply for the Vingroup scholarship. This scholarship covers all tuition and living expenses which is worth around S$300,000/ Ph.D. scholarship and S$150,000/Master’s scholarship. This generous gift from Vingroup will be invaluable in attracting and supporting some of Vietnam’s most talented young postgraduate students. As a university dedicated to providing opportunities for world class higher education and research, we are grateful for Vingroup’s support. We hope that this will inspire other donors to create similar scholarship funds at NTU.

The establishment of the Vingroup scholarship programme at NTU will provide excellent Vietnamese students with opportunities to study and research in the world’s leading educational environment.
