Hoang Le Dieu Huong, a graduate of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, has officially received a Ph.D. scholarship at the University of California, San Diego (USA). This is a surprise to the student of Electronics – Telecommunications major because Huong’s original goal was to try to apply for a Master’s scholarship to a school in the top 200 in the US.
In a place that is thousands of kilometers away from Dieu Huong, Nguyen Duc An is having his last days at Nagoya University (Japan) to obtain a Master’s degree before leaving for the UK to join a Ph.D. program in Computer Science at one of the most highly-regarded schools in the world – the University of Oxford.
