The Vingroup Science and Technology Scholarship Program for Overseas Study for Master’s and Doctoral Degrees was announced in March 2019 and is managed by VinUniversity. Until now, the Program has selected and awarded scholarships to 105 excellent Vietnamese students.
In 2021, 39 scholarships have been awarded to outstanding students to pursue graduate degree programs in computer science, information technology and security, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, applied biology, biomedical engineering, etc. The scholars will commence their studies at leading universities in the world in 2021 such as the University of Oxford (United Kingdom), University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, University of California, San Diego, Johns Hopkins University, University of Pennsylvania (United States), EPFL (Switzerland), University of New South Wales, University of Melbourne (Australia), National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technology University (Singapore), RWTH Aachen University (Germany) to name just a few.
These 39 students have passed rigorous application and selection processes, including an interview round with the participation of professors and experts from leading universities in the world in many fields of science, technology and engineering. The open, competitive, transparent and completely free application process of the Vingroup Scholarship Program is contributing to the mission of finding talents and developing them further so that they can lead and advance the development of science and technology in Vietnam in the future.
